The prophet Ezekiel

Ezekiel was a priest before he was captured and taken in to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar after the fall of Israel.  While in Babylon, he began prophesying, and kept prophesying for over 20  years.  I think he had an interesting way of teaching.  He would use actions and props to teach and prophesy.  For example, he laid on his left side for 390 days to show the iniquity of Israel and laid on his right side for 40 days to show the iniquity Judah (see Ezekiel ch. 4).  God referred to Ezekiel as “son of man” to show how strong he was compared to the frailty of man.
