Asa the king of Judah

Asa was the best king out of all the kings of Judah. He was the son of Abijah, who was king before Asa. Fortunately, Asa did not follow in his father’s footsteps of worshiping idols. Instead he  restored the worship of God. He had a good reign. A few years into his reign the Ethiopians declared war against his people. Before they went to defend themselves he prayed to God to fight the Ethiopians for his people. As he said these words, God struck the Ethiopians and they fled from the Jews. God did this because Asa had restored is gospel. Asa died in his 41st year of his reign.
